Your First Visit to Our Parkersburg Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

New patients often remark how “homey” our office is. That’s good, because our goal is to offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care in a comfortable surrounding.

On your initial visit you will fill out paperwork (see new patient forms) of your present complaints, health history and relevant information. Once presented to our receptionist a new patient orientation video will be shown, in depth questions will be asked centered around your present complaints and a orthopedic neurological exam will be performed. If x-rays are necessary, they will be taken and the doctor will discuss the results with you.

If your case is related to the misalignment of  the spinal vertebrae that would result in the symptoms you are indicating then a Chiropractic adjustment (see Techniques) will be rendered. The related soft tissue will be treated with Electrical Muscle Stim and other modalities if necessary. A care plan will be given for the quickest most optimal outcome. Please allow 45 minutes to 1 hour for your first visit.

Parkersburg chiropractic patients appreciate that we explain everything in advance!

Dr. Bill Asks some important questions of interest to Parkersburg residents - Chiropractor Parkersburg Dr. Bill Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
Would you rather feel good or be healthy?
Ask most people in Parkersburg and they want to feel good. Careful! Would you take medicine that makes you feel good, rather than vomit to expel improperly prepared food? Every chiropractic patient knows that you can't measure your health by how you feel. True health is when your body works as it should.
